Fixin' to Rumble

Back in the day, after High School football games, some of the home team guys would hop in a car and chase fans from the opposing team home at breakneck speeds. Wanting to fight only because we were Us and they were Them.

So I wondered if an Us guy would be a Them guy had they grown up in the other community. The Vietnam War was on at the time and I wondered if the same would be true in that case too. Is a loyal citizen a loyal citizen regardless of which side of the conflict they grew up in?

Are people born with the Us and Them mindset?

Can we blame the other side if we would be doing what they do if raised there?

Are good citizens, good citizens, no matter their regime?
