The Trump Administration is a "lame-duck" from this point forward (shutting the government down for 35 days). The Republican Party is coming apart a like an oversized man in a cheap suit. The light at the other end of the tunnel is the train coming directly at Mr. Trump and his minions. I don't wish it but it's the consequences of his past deeds (disrespect/greed). The Republican's reprobation miasma can foul the largest rose garden in the faraway countryside. They will be removed in 2020. Need I say more? CM
How is the Republican party coming apart?

The end is coming. This presidency will not end naturally.you may well be correct ... and the Clinton-Bush-Obama disaster will come front and center again after having continued "in the media hidden deep" and after having won "the war" .... US Americans will shortly feel it with the intended war (needed to fill the financial pockets of the military-industrial complex and few "globalist oligarchs") ...

- "Trump can walk out or be impeached out. He has to go! His administration appears to be the most investigated and corrupted of any US Administration in America's history. It's shameful and a disgrace ... a witch has been found. How could America stand with this man? Regardless, it's all coming to an end very soon!
- "Trump is going down like the Titanic. Rearranging the chairs wouldn't help", etc. CM

Again, there has been no impeachable offense and the Senate will not remove him.

Just you wait. CM

You mean just like I should wait for the Mueller report and Trump going to jail?

The US President, Donald J. Trump, is totally unhinged. He's angry, afraid and incoherent. Some says, Trump is God's man. He swears in front of the guest at the White House, on public TV, in the middle of the day, with no regards for children and families. This is a new "low", even for Trump. His behavior reminds me of Mr. Kavanaugh. The rich and privileged (many times, "white men") having a tantrum to distract or to have their way.
America, America, what are you doing? Why do you seem to allow spoiled brads to run the country?
What can I say: The Beginning of the End! CM
-
Obama also swore on national television. So no, it's not a "new low".
I would be angry too if people were making up lies and smearing my name repeatedly making up false accusations just to remove you from office.
-
I hope not as a Christian. Mr. Trump is too thin skinned, "baby-man". CM
PS. The Removal March has begun. There will be life after TRUMP.

Earlier today the president of the United States publicly confirmed what we all - well, most of us - have known since we read the transcript were his intentions in his July 25 call to the Ukranian president: He wanted Ukraine to investigate his domestic political rival Joe Biden. He didn't call to encourage the Ukranian president to fight corruption writ large. He called to trigger a foreign nation's investigation of the man who might run against him in the 2020 presidential election.
What does the president's confession tell us about the other "ask" he made of his Ukranian counterpart during their phone call? It tells us that he intended his "Crowdstrike" reference to a thoroughly debunked conspiracy theory to trigger a foreign nation's investigation of his 2016 political rival Hillary Clinton.
In addition to the confession on Ukraine, today the president also publicly invited China to investigate his domestic political rival Joe Biden.
- 2016: "Russia, if you're listening...."
- 2019: "Ukraine, I would like you to do us a favor, though" (because I've put a hold on the $250 million you need to defend yourself against Russia)
- 2019: "China, I have a lot of options on (you), but if (you) don’t do what we want, we have tremendous power.”
[In case you don't recognize them, in those three lines, all but the "(because I've put a hold...)" parenthetical are Mr Trump's own words.]
As they say in tennis: Game, set, and match.
-
Thanks, Bill, for the update.
Public Conclusion! Plain and simple!
In addition to the confession on Ukraine, today the president also publicly invited China to investigate his domestic political rival Joe Biden.
2016: "Russia, if you're listening...."
2019: "Ukraine, I would like you to do us a favor, though" (because I've put a hold on the $250 million you need to defend yourself against Russia)
2019: "China, I have a lot of options on (you), but if (you) don’t do what we want, we have tremendous power.”
America, Save your country, remove Trump, immediately! CM

2016: "Russia, if you're listening...."
Oh dear, oh dear .... I happened to see the part of Trump's speech where he said the above .... and it was plain and clear to even me that it was a joke with reference and a sidekick on the Democrats and their e-mail matter talk ... Eh, of course, not only Russia but the rest of the world was listening as the US msm were busy airing the speech.
It seems to me that some folks have very little or no sense and perception of humor ...

According to the Mueller report, Russian hackers launched their efforts to invade the DNC email server ON THE SAME DAY AND JUST HOURS AFTER then-candidate Trump asked Russia to find Clinton's emails. Apparently, the Russians had "little or no sense and perception of humor" either.

As if to provide an exclamation point at the end of this week's damning narrative against President Trump, last night night House committees released text messages between American diplomats and other information about their interactions with Ukranian officials following Trump's infamous July 25 call with President Zelenskyy. According to the New York Times, regarding a statement from the Ukranians on their efforts to fight corruption that the U.S. was asking for,
"Mr. Volker [the recently-resigned Special Envoy to Ukraine] told the House investigators that the Ukrainians had earlier proposed language promising a statement on fighting corruption that did not specifically mention Burisma [the energy company on whose board Hunter Biden sat] and 2016. When Mr. Giuliani was shown that original language, Mr. Volker told the House, he indicated to Mr. Volker that it was not sufficient and said the Ukrainians should be asked for specific public commitments to investigate Burisma and 2016."
Remember the Trumpsters' defense that our president was ONLY asking the Ukranian leader to fight corruption in his country writ large, and that the phone call had NOTHING to do with a desire to have the Bidens - a domestic political rival - investigated by a foreign country? Yeah right.
Among the text messages was this one, from Volker to a senior Ukranian official:
"Heard from the White House -- assuming President Z convinces trump he will investigate/'get to the bottom of what happened' in 2016, we will nail down date for visit to Washington,"
Remember the Trumpsters' defense that there was "no quid pro quo" involved in the president's request for a "favor" from President Zelenskyy? Yeah right.
And there's this:
BILL TAYLOR [Chief American diplomat to Ukraine]: "Are we now saying that security assistance and WH meeting are conditioned on investigations?"
GORDON SONDLAND [U.S. Ambassador to the European Union: "Call me."
And finally this:
TAYLOR: "I think it's crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campaign."
SONDLAND: (after a more than four hour delay): "Bill, I believe you are incorrect about President Trump's intentions. The President has been crystal clear no quid pro quo's of any kind. I suggest we stop the back and forth by text."
Remember the trumpsters' defenses of any kind? Yeah right.

Can you point me to the transcript of how he confirmed what you are saying?

Can you point me to the transcript of how he confirmed what you are saying?
From THIS TRANSCRIPT of the president's interaction with reporters on the south lawn of the White House on October 3: (Bracketed items are my corrections to the transcript, which in a few places is not accurate. Check the video yourself if you doubt my corrections)
Reporter: What exactly did you hope Zelensky would do about [the Bidens after] the phone call? [Exactly.}
Donald Trump: 03:26 Well, I would think that if they were honest about it, [they'd start a] major investigation into the [Bidens]; it’s a very simple answer. They should investigate the Bidens because how does a company that’s newly formed and all these companies did you look at … and by the way, likewise, China [should start] an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with with Ukraine.
Donald Trump: 03:56 So, I would say that president Zelensky, if it were me, I would recommend that they start an investigation into the Bidens because nobody has any doubt that they weren’t crooked. That was a crooked deal. 100%. He had no knowledge of energy, didn’t know the first thing about it. All of a sudden he’s getting $50,000 a month plus a lot of other things. Nobody has any doubt. And they got rid of a prosecutor who was a very tough prosecutor. They got rid of them. Now they’re trying to make it the opposite way, but they got rid.... So, if I were the president, I would certainly recommend that of Ukraine.
So the reporter asks the president what he was asking Zelenskyy to do about the Bidens when he raised them to his attention during their July 25 call. In response, the president says he was hoping Zelenskyy would start "a major investigation" into them, and that China should do so, too. Remember finally that the Bidens and Hillary Clinton were the ONLY examples of "corruption" Trump raised in the July 25 conversation.
One other thing: If our president was so incensed by the "corruption" going on in Ukraine vis a vis the Bidens and Hillary Clinton in 2015-16, why didn't he raise the matter in 2017, his first full year in office? And why didn't he raise the issue in 2018, when his administration gave $200 million in aid to Ukraine? Why did he wait til 2019 to raise his concerns about the Bidens to the Ukranians? Specifically, why did the president wait until AFTER Joe Biden announced his candidacy for president in April of this year and polls showed Biden beating Trump head-to-head to raise his concerns about the "corruption" that took that allegedly took place in 2015-16? ANYTHING about that timing strike you as odd, reformed?

As I guessed, what you said earlier was more liberal "filling in the details" just like Schiff and his infamous comments in the hearing. Nothing to see here.

As I guessed, another vacuous post from you, devoid of any meaningful - let alone informed - engagement with the content of my previous post or the questions with which I ended it.
The words "nothing to see here" are almost literally true about your 28 word reply.

That's because most of your post is speculation and filling in details that aren't actually there.

@reformed posted:
That's because most of your post is speculation and filling in details that aren't actually there.
Let's test your claim by breaking my previous post into its constituent parts:
1) "So the reporter asks the president what he was asking Zelenskyy to do about the Bidens when he raised them to his attention during their July 25 call."
FROM THE TRANSCRIPT: "What exactly did you hope Zelensky would do about [the Bidens after] the phone call? [Exactly.]"
No speculation there.
2) " In response, the president says he was hoping Zelenskyy would start "a major investigation" into them, and that China should do so, too."
FROM THE TRANSCRIPT: "Well, I would think that if they were honest about it, [they'd start a] major investigation into the [Bidens]; it’s a very simple answer....and by the way, likewise, China [should start] an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with with Ukraine.
No speculation there.
3) "Remember finally that the Bidens and Hillary Clinton were the ONLY examples of "corruption" Trump raised in the July 25 conversation."
From a review of THE CALL SUMMARY put out by the White House, you'll discover that this is simply a statement of objective fact. SO, no speculation here either.
4) The rest of my post that you claim is filled with "speculation and filling in details that aren't actually there" is comprised of one paragraph consisting of five questions, all of which ask basically one question: If the president was so concerned about corruption in Ukraine, the Bidens and Crowdstrike in particular, why did he wait 2-1/2 years into his term to raise it? Kind of hard to have "speculation" and "details that aren't actually there" in questions that ask something that simple.
Bottom line: Unless you point out some that I can't find, there's NO speculation or details that aren't there to be found in my previous post. That means the most likely reason you said there was was to avoid acknowledging that the transcript confirms my summary of what happened on the South Lawn of the White House yesterday, and to avoid answering the five questions because truthful answers to them only disable your argument... which IS likely built on "speculation and details that aren't there."

what is this showing?
is there a Trump 7 Ukraine problem? or was and is there a far bigger Obama-Biden-H.Clinton / Ukraine problem ?
-
Joe Biden already in 2018 admitted that he (!! .. not Trump) put force to Ukrainian government to have a corruption investigation stopped against the company in which his son occupied a high position .... have a look at his speech from 2018 (interesting section begins at approx 51 minutes
The real "Ukraine Gate" relates to the criminal Obama, Biden H. Clinton regime with their US financed coup of the Ukrainian government in Feb 2014 and their somewhat concealed take over of key Ukraine corporations and installing the US puppet Pornoshenko
-
A little more on the UKraine scandal surfaced on Wednesday in a press conference held by Ukrainian parliament politician Andrej Derkatsch, in which he presented documentation for the corruption schemes of Biden sen. and Biden jr. and the influencing of the US presidential election in 2016 in favor of Hillary Clinton carried out by the Prorschenko regime.
A. Derkatsch accused Poroschenko to have caused the trouble that now the Ukraine is involved in the recent US scandal, because he - Poroschenko - had supported H. Clinton and provided information to her campaign which were designed to discredit Trump. This later on has led to the accusations against Trump's election campaign manager Manafort convicting him of tax evation.
A. Derkatsch proceed in his presentation by presenting documents of the correspondence between the anti-corruption office of the Ukraine (NABU) and the US embassy in Kiev. According to these documents, information was passed from NABU to the US embassy which subsequently were used to influence later steps and events in Ukraine and the USA.
Some more details at length can be found in an article (in German, use Google translator):

Your claim here, Wolfgang, is patently, blatantly false. In the lingo of one online fact checkers, your claim is "Pants on Fire!" false.
View the video from the 51:00 mark or, to get closer to the relevant section, from around 51:50, where you'll hear Vice President Biden say the following things:
- He's "desperately concerned with the backsliding on the part of Kiev in terms of corruption." That means HE DIDN'T THINK THEY WERE DOING ENOUGH to fight corruption.
- He says his visit to and engagement with the leaders of Ukraine were result of his "assignment," obviously from President Obama. After launching his report about what happened with the $1 billion loan guarantee with the pronoun "I," Biden immediately corrects himself: "I was, not I. It just so happened that was the assignment I got. I got all the good ones. So I got Ukraine."
- When Ukrainian leaders told Biden that since he wasn't the president, he didn't have the authority to withhold the loan guarantee as a consequence for their not following through on their commitment to take action against the ineffective prosecutor, Biden said, "Call him." (the president) TRANSLATION: The president supports my loan guarantee threat.
- Biden then says the Ukrainian officials replaced the fired prosecutor with someone who was "solid at the time," obviously that refers to being solid in the fight against corruption, the fight on which the Obama administration believed Ukraine had backslidden.
The point of those bullet points is to give context and support to my contention that your claim is false. NOWHERE in the video to which you linked does Biden "(admit)" to putting "force to Ukrainian government to have a corruption investigation stopped against the company in which his son occupied a high position." What he "admits" is that when he threatened to withhold the billion dollar loan guarantee, he did so as an official representative of the Obama administration, and that the president agreed with his action.
In addition, the evidence strongly suggests that at the time Biden issued the loan guarantee threat, the Ukrainian investigation into the energy company on whose board Biden's son had sat was dormant. That is, at that time, THERE WAS NO INVESTIGATION FOR BIDEN TO PRESSURE THE UKAINIANS TO STOP!
In addition, as has been shown in fact check after fact check after fact check, the Ukrainian prosecutor whose removal the Obama administration sought was WIDELY AND INTERNATIONALLY CRITICIZED FOR HIS FAILURE TO PURSUE CORRUPTION PROSECUTIONS. The U.S. was just one of MANY nations and organizations around the world that wanted the prosecutor removed because he WASN'T fighting corruption.
Your claim is blazingly false, Wolfgang.

Looking at things from across the ocean here, I don't quite think so.
Here's a link to an article by the author folks here don't seem to like very much ...
His patriotic outlook at the USA is not too positive these days, based on what he reads in publicly available news sources and then considers and thinks about. Of course, I would think that some here deem him as blatantly false as they deem my thoughts and "non-msm-propaganda" to be
