Hurricane Florence

Indeed! Why, just yesterday the president demonstrated his advancing familiarity with the meteorology of hurricanes when he told reporters in the Oval Office that the approaching storm would be "tremendously wet."
Now unapologetically I am a BIG supporter of former President Obama's, but I have to admit he would never have even thought to use such thoughtful and insightful words to describe a potentially devastating hurricane that was headed toward the U.S.
As for President Trump's focus on the storm, good! That's kind of what presidents are supposed to do in times of national emergency: focus on the emergency! We can see the president's laser-like focus in the recent produce of his Twitter account. By my count, only 40% of his last 20 tweets have been about Russia, the Mueller probe, and Mr Trump's assertions of innocence in those matters. You can bet that were a "tremendously wet" hurricane not approaching, that percentage would more like 106. Well done, Mr. President.

Tremendously wet is accurate Bill as the storm is expected to do more flooding than anything in a lot of the East. Flooding is what they are worried about.
That being said, @C_M_ implied Trump wasn't doing anything to prepare for the storm.
Get over your self-righteous, elitest self.

I bet any good Democrat (one not sitting impotently behind his computer) worth his salt would do the right thing and stop that nasty hurricane!
For instance, we have the great liberal thinking and ability on demonstration here: It's the best that kind of person can do.
@Big_Snort_, however, we have no idea what you can do as you heartlessly criticize everyone (but Billium) that moves and we have no idea if you are American where you live, you age, your citizenship, where your were born, if you were born, if you are illegal, if you are an alien, if you love America, if you love God, if you love anyone but yourself and Bill, if you are a Democrat or a Democrat. Say, we don't know anything about you at all.
All we know is the kind of person we see on forums. That person can't stop a hurricane, can't even stop a forever flood of slander and negatively. Yet that person has the gall to condemn every person around him (except Bill).

I didn't say Mr. Trump "...wasn't doing anything to prepare for the storm". Please adjust future expressions and let's be more accurate as possible. Therefore, any questions arising out your misunderstanding are meaningless. If you persist with your point of view, Mr. Trump has every opportunity to prove his preparation plans. The storm is here. What's the latest on it? CM

Once again, you are neither honest nor genuine. I simply don't believe you come here to get news about Florence.
You know full well Trump has prepared for this hurricane, probably like none ever before. That is the kind of President he is. Even the military is fully prepared. All this is plastered over every headline.
If you really, honestly didn't know that, there is no cure for that kind of stupid. I am safe saying that, because you are being flagrantly dishonest/untruthful on this matter you addressed above.

Perhaps your reading comprehension is off, not mine. I said YOU IMPLIED.
What do you mean what's the latest on it? The storm hasn't hit yet....

No, but the socialists already have their hands out asking working Americans for money.

What about the governmental greed/hate-mongers ripping off FEMA and the CoastGuards (total of $ 39 million) this summer to finance, in building Family interment Compounds--Children's Prisons? A government bent on deporting and imprisoning people over helping people in distress is sick, evil and its leader needs to be removed. This is an outrage and ashamed, by any decent person's standards, in the face of Hurricane Florence. This is snake belly low! Where are the American Christian Republicans? CM

Mr. Trump's character took another dive deep into the mud this morning when he tweeted, without evidence, that the nearly 3,000 person official death toll in Puerto Rico from last year's Hurricane Maria was not accurate, that the actual death toll was FAR, FAR, FAR less (initially 6-18, a total that with time "didn't go up by much," Mr. Trump claimed). The president further tweeted, again without evidence, that the 3,000 tally was "done by the Democrats to make (him) look as bad a possible."
Of course, there's a reason the president offered no evidence to support his tweeted accusations: There IS no evidence to support them. They're falsehoods, fabrications, and lies. But in this case, as Puerto Ricans still struggle to recover from last year's storm, a storm is about to strike the east coast, and several other storms are on their way, his lies evidence a particularly nasty and pernicious disgust.
EDIT: Goodness, even FoxNews is criticizing the president for his comments!

Nobody is ripping off anyone.
