FBI Report Is In: No Evidence To Support Kavanaugh Allegations
The FBI report is in and there is no corroboration that the FBI could find for the allegations against Kavanaugh. It's time to put the nail in this coffin and for Blasey Ford, Ramirez, and Swetnik to go away or bring some actual evidence.
No witnesses changed their story. The allegations are unfounded and outrageous, no evidence of events ever occurring.
This has been an utter waste of time. We know the same thing now we already knew a week ago. Anyone with half a brain could tell you this.
Hopefully, the Democrats, if they are honest, can get over this nonsense. Granted, they aren't honest people.

So be it. At least we who oppose Kavanaugh's nomination have the comfort President Trump's assurance to the nation last week - that the FBI had "free rein" in its expanded background investigation. At least the Bureau had the authority to follow the evidence where it led, to talk with the witnesses of its choosing, to perform its much-heralded due diligence on this matter of great national importance.
What all that means is that when we learn more about the FBI's report and the mechanics that produced it, we know we will discover that the Bureau followed its standard procedure, spoke, likely, to dozens of witnesses, including, it goes without saying, Dr Blasey Ford, the accuser, and Judge Kavanaugh, the accused. We'll have confidence that the report is the unobstructed work product of the nation's finest and most non-partisan investigative body.
What sets this moment apart, at least for me, is the president's commitment to the FBI's having "free rein" to do its work. Whatever that report says - and initial reports are that it offers no new evidence to corroborate Dr Ford's allegations - it says because the Bureau had the time, the resources, and the permission from the White House to do its work its way.

Hmm I can't tell if this is genuine or sarcastic.

The FBI supplemental background check on Kavanaugh is completed and thorough ONLY where they were authorized by the White House. Another hit by the Con-man-in-Chief. There is more truth to see the light of day on Kavanaugh. The truth may be slow, but she is sure. CM

This is not True. How and why would you believe Trump? There is a difference between capability and authority. FBI didn't have a free hand. They spoke only to those Trump directed them. This is a background check, not a true investigation. CM

Proof? And no, a criminal (true is misleading. This was a true investigation) investigation wouldn't happen because it is he said/she said with no location/time/witnesses/evidence. Not to mention even if it did happen, which is unlikely, it is outside the statute of limitations.

What I said is so. I am inviting Bill (if he chooses to accept) to cite the JC, the Senate rules and the President's rule in guiding the FBI when it comes to this type of FBI background check. CM

Why is it so? Because you say so? And how about the second part of my post. You know there is no evidence and this would go nowhere and it is outside of the statute of limitations anyway right?

Kavanaugh showed up clean. Pure and simple.
C_M_ you were dead wrong.
