Does the Bible speaks of politics? If so, what are some of its earliest examples?
Was Jesus political? If so, what are some examples?
Should Christians get involved or join a political party?
Can one political stances influence one biblical views or vise versa?
Can Christian live "unstained" by politics?
What obligatory role the Christian has to get involve or to avoid politics at all cost?

Since the Bible says we pay taxes to the governing authorities, and that we are subject to the authorities, why not be part in voicing which one we chose and the laws being made?
Since I became a born again Christian, I couldn't be anything but a Republican, since they go against abortion, and same sex marriage.
Romans 13
1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. Are they the only things that drive you to the voting booth? You're not concern about America's gun laws -- the killing of innocent people, pollution, clean air, wars, tax fairness, racism, police brutality, etc.?
Why do you seem to be more concerned with what's in a woman's womb (not your wife) than poverty, starvation? Shouldn't you be more concerned with children at the border, homelessness, and sex trafficking (to name a few), the fully defined, developed, independent-being, walking-breathing men and women, boys and girls, you can see touch and talk to about the things of God?
Are you being too narrow? Don't you think you should reconsider your stance? How do you justify placing a greater value on the unknown than what you can see, touch, feel, and reason?
Please explain yourself or tell me you have changed your stance since you last posted your comments above? Given the last Republican in office and his behavior, I don't think the party is worthy of your membership. What do you teach your children or others in voting education? The two things you're against, American law allows them and the President to uphold the laws of the land.
PS. You don't have to be a Republican. You can be a respectable "Independent". Therefore, you can broaden your compassion for many more people and the things that are not lawful. CM
